We compile an extensive dataset of Indian NGOs through surveys and phone calls.
We use this data to evaluate these NGOs across multiple objective criteria.
You donate directly to that NGO and make a difference to those who need it the most.

After analyzing and speaking to over 40 NGOs, we have made recommendations for our top charities based on two key criteria — greatest impact per rupee and most nutritious kit. We believe that these parameters enable us to promote the most effective NGOs in the space while addressing the need for heterogeneous donor interests.
Zomato Feeding India delivers the greatest number of packs at the lowest cost per meal possible. At about 14.3 INR per meal, Zomato Feeding India offers by far the most cost-effective pack that we have found. The organization has an impressive track record of delivering 36 million meals over the organization's history. This track record along with their cost-effectiveness make them one of our top recommended charities.

We use extensive, objective criteria to evaluate charities before recommending them to you.
We identify over 40 charities providing ration kits to daily-wage earners in India using publicly available databases. We collect data on their daily and holistic operations.
We evaluate the identified charities across various metrics, including costs efficiencies, tradition of impact, certification status, and room for additional funding.
After short-listing our top NGOs, our team conducts extensive virtual audits to verify the charity's operations.
We continuously assess NGOs against our criteria and remove/make modifications accordingly. Furthermore, we continue to expand the list of NGOs considered in our evaluations.

Over 90% of India’s workforce are employed in the informal sector, working as security guards, cleaners, rickshaw pullers, streets vendors, and garbage collectors.
The nation-wide lockdown announced by Prime Minister Modi on the 26th of March leaves daily-wage earners with no prospect of income or ability to return to their villages. Many are left wondering: when, and where, will my next meal come from?
Hundreds of NGOs are providing daily-wage earners with ration kits in the hopes to feed them and their families. However, they rely purely on the public’s donations to fund their efforts. By supporting the charities that do the most good, CovAID India allows you to maximise the number of lives you can help during this time of crisis.
